Gillian King-Cargile is the founder and director of Northern Illinois University's STEM Read (stemread.com) and the author of The Stuffed Bunny Science series from NIU Press. She has a B.A. in Film Production and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Southern Illinois University. Gillian believes that storytelling is a powerful way to share experiences and learn about the world. Her programs use humor and creativity to kindle students’ love of reading and learning.
