Stephanie Lithgow piloted the STEM program for Berkeley School District 87 in Berkeley, IL in 2014. She and her STEM partner wrote the district STEM curriculum for three grade levels. Stephanie teaches every middle level student at her school six units over the course of three years. Stephanie has her Master's of Arts Degree in Educational Technology in 2016 and received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Middle Level from Eastern Illinois University in 2009. She is certified in Mathematics, Science and as a Technology Specialist. She has presented workshops on Self-Paced Units, Technology Tools and Project Based Learning. Her students were showcased for their Arduino projects at TECH 2016, hosted by ICE (Illinois Computing Educators), in Springfield, IL. She presented a three hour workshop on Arduino at IETC (Illinois Educational Technology Conference) in Springfield in November, 2016. She will present at the ISTE National Conference in San Antonio this June.
