Kristen Koppers is a Nationally Board Recognized Teacher (NBCT) in the field of English. She is a recent Google Education level 1 certified educator; she began writing html in 1998 for websites. She is a self-publisher of two books and is currently working on her teaching book. Kristen has a BA in English (WMU), MA in English (GSU), and a Masters in Educational Administration (GSU). In addition to her academics, she is the recipient of several awards including the Will County Great Teacher Award, Award of Recognition from ISBE, nominee for the Golden Apple, and the Everyday Hero award through the Herald News publication. Kristen has been married for 18 years and has a 6-year old son named Jakob.
