Kristen Koppers is a Nationally Board Recognized Teacher (NBCT) in the field of English. She began writing html in 1998 for websites and as a self-publisher of two books, she learned a lot about the industry. Koppers published Differentiated Instruction in the Teaching Profession in July 2019 and her children's book, The Perfect Puppy in May 2020 published by Edumatch Publishing. Kristen has a BA in English (WMU), MA in English (GSU), and a Masters in Educational Administration (GSU). In addition to her academics, she is the recipient of several awards including the Will County Great Teacher Award, Award of Recognition from ISBE, nominee for the Golden Apple, and the Everyday Hero award through the Herald News publication. Kristen has been married for 18 years and has a 10-year old son named Jakob.
