Jennifer Lazar is a high school literacy teacher/reading specialist at West Leyden High School in Northlake, IL. She has been a teacher/instructional coach for fourteen years and has a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in both Curriculum and Instruction and Reading. She is a Google Certified Educator and has previously presented at NCLB on the topic of text selection/complexity.
