Game on! Using Interactive Google Slides to Gamify your Lessons

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Are you tired of giving only worksheets as practice for your content area? Tired of seeing your students eyes roll? Come join us and see how you can gamify your lessons! We will show you how we have taken traditional practiced-based lessons and put a focus on competition and engagement. Utilizing google slides and elements of “flipping” your classroom, we have created an interactive board game that is rigorous, fast paced, and easy to manage. By implementing this, it has allowed our students to work in a self-paced environment, allowing the scaffolding necessary to help all everyone! The end result...we have seen a rise in student engagement and achievement and want to share our success with you!
