This 50 states project was done in 3rd grade.. Each student was assigned 1-2 states to be responsible for researching. The first class project was collaboration to create a Google Form to share with other classrooms across the United States. The students then used this form to gather information about each state and start their research. In addition, students worked on improving their communication and questioning skills by hosting Mystery Google Hangouts with schools from each state. After the students researched their state they created a travel video promoting tourism in each of the 50 states.
