Computer Programming Across the Curriculum

This session is designed to show teachers how to integrate computer programming into their classrooms. Students will demonstrate how they created games and timelines for social studies and language arts classes using Tynker and Scratch. STEM teachers will also benefit from seeing projects that use content from various subjects. Tynker has several projects designed for science, language arts, and social studies.

Jen Fabsik teaches language arts/social studies at Quest Academy, an independent school for gifted students in Palatine. She has a Master's in Education from Northwestern University.
