Tech Academy+: Creating Employable Students

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Help students develop employability skills through an in-house business partnership, Tech Academy+. Learn how the Business and Ed Tech Departments have partnered up to provide students with real-world experiences. From curriculum, work-flow, to Chromebook repair, we’ve got you covered. We will share what tools and processes are being used to help students earn MOS, MTA, and Dell Certifications as well as complete a Student Technology Internship. You might be surprised just how much a student can accomplish in one semester! If you are interested in your students learning from acting and doing and providing them with skills needed in the workforce, then you won’t want to miss this session on Tech Academy+.

Sophia Rosa

Sophia Rosa is in year two with the WTHS Ed Tech Department. She has earned multiple certifications, trained, and networked to help provide a dynamic experience for the Student Technology Interns. The skills she brings from being an Entrepreneur outside of the school day are invaluable.
