Come and see how students can build, explore and test ideas and solutions using the LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics kits. These materials are closely correlated with the NGSS Disciplinary Core ideas and the Engineering and Science practices. Kindergarten thru 5th grade students build simple robots and devices as tools to investigate, model and collect data. The presenters, Stephen Meehan and Colleen Cannon-Ruffo - LEGO Education Academy Certified Trainers, will share some of the builds and lessons learned from teaching STEM rich lessons to students in the primary grades both in the classroom and in the Makerspace. This resource can also be used to support Social Emotional Learning goals. The iPad, Chromebook and PC compatible software will be presented and modeled during the presentation
