'Tinkering Through Time'-- Incorporating A Makers Space During Classroom Centers

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Bring your plan book as we discuss and strategize how to successfully incorporate MakerSpace components during center rotations throughout the school day. Come and see first hand how "tinkering" can meet CCSS while giving your students time to problem solve and collaborate with peers as you meet with small groups of students simultaneoulsy. Your students will be glad you attended this session!

I teach 4th grade at Palos West Elementary School and enjoy learning and implementing many forms of technology into our classroom routines! I have been an active member of ICE since 2012 and am currently the President of ICE CHIP and co-chair of TECH 20XX. I enjoy attending conferences and "tinkering" with the latest and greatest Techy craze and finding a way to bring it to my students!
