On the Move: Iterations of Technology Use in Primary Physical Education Settings

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Technology has changed the way our primary students interact with the world around them. Because of this, we’ve been on the move, continuously trying new ways to harness the power of technology as an integral part of our physical education classes in our primary grade center. In this session, we’ll share how we’ve integrated technology and what we’ve learned through the process. Ideas include: developing Google Sites to share photos and videos with students and families, students creating movement videos, using student created videos on tablets to provide models during stations, using tablets to record and self-assess, as well as how we integrate literacy lessons on our tablets as part of our movement activities. We’ll also highlight how you might use these ideas for integrating technology beyond the PE setting.
