So We're Future Ready, What's Next? The Continuing Journey of a Future Ready District.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will feature a panel of District 56 administrators and teachers who have been key players in propelling the district into a future ready status. Not only will we share the work that it took to establish that environment, but we will focus on what is next in our journey moving forward and the initiatives that we are now able to tackle thanks to becoming Future Ready. Some of these initiatives include our Flexible Learning Environments, STEM Labs, MakerSpaces, Breakout EDU, Digital Literacies, and our Code To The Future Curriculum that embeds coding in every core subject in the district beginning with Kindergarten through 2nd grade this year and adding each grade in the next 2 years.
