Visual Literacy Hacks: Putting the Pic in Picasso

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In an age where students are able to create and share their own content, we need to develop their ability to create visual messages that convey and extend meaning, not take away from it. Text, content, and design are equal partners in the effective delivery of a message. Common Core even suggests that students need to be able to express themselves and interpret ideas through visual literacy. Visual Literacy is not just for students! Want to step up your design game and make professional looking materials? Come learn how to design like Picasso or at least fake it through some basic visual literacy hacks.
